Life is a game we play with ourselves, and as spiritual light beings we have chosen to come to Earth so that we may play this game... the purpose of which is to further our evolution.
The idea of the game is to shine the light of our true identity, which is hidden from us initially by the cloak of a physical body. This physical vessel we adopt is a lot more dense and far heavier than our light body, and so our light body becomes a prisoner, smothered by the darkness of this cloak.
Through experiences here on Earth we can begin to remind ourselves of our light body, and who and what we are. When we start remembering, our cloak starts to get a little lighter and less dense. The less dense it becomes, the easier it is for us to remember, and the more we remember, the more our light will begin to shine through.
At some point during this game we will have achieved our goal, we will have accomplished that which we came here to accomplish. We may not be aware of exactly what it is we have achieved, but of course our light body will be aware. In achieving our objective we are only too happy to free ourselves from the heavy, dense cloak we adopted for the game. This is a cause for celebration, and that's exactly what those who free themselves do, they celebrate. If we who are still playing the game cannot celebrate with them, then it goes to demonstrate how influenced we still are by the weight and density of our own cloak.
