July 2012 – THE SPIRIT OF MA’AT – “THE HEART OF THE PHOENIX EDITION”
The winds of change are about to be intensified by solar energies that only come around when Sirius rises ahead of the Sun. For the ancients, what is otherwise known as the Heliacal Rising of Sirius marked the beginning of the New Year - but its significance has always gone much deeper than that. Whether we are aware of it or not, the month of July opens the space for Mother Earth and Father Sky to come together in an embrace that generates enough heat to re-birth everything in Creation. With the weight of 2012 making the Sirius mysteries even more mysterious, the fact that the Solar Flare cycle has already created a Tantric connection between the Earth and the Sun, makes it seem as if the next thirty-one days will be a little 'hotter' than usual. Whatever the word implies, in the aftermath of the Solstice Ceremonies, as we awaken to 'The Dawn of a New Time', will the Heliacal Rising of Sirius open the way for a whole new vision to rise up from the ashes of the past? And in the oneness that defines the essence of the season will we find a way to conceive that which allows us to serve all life, everywhere? It is the Phoenix in each one of us that we are waiting for.
This 'mythical bird' sings to us from the inner recesses of the heart chamber. To honor it, and to honor all of the forces that hold life in the endless cycle of death and rebirth, our July 2012 issue has been compiled with the best interests of your 'mythical bird' in mind. We welcome you to our "Heart of the Phoenix" edition. As we rise up to greet 'The Dawn of a New Time', it is our wish that everything we have included in this month's selection of articles and media presentations will light up your 'Inner Phoenix', and inspire you to consider your visions, along with your place in the scheme of things, as our world spins into the realm of Unity Consciousness.
